PharmaEngine Appoints Dr. Alain Herrera as Senior Advisor

 TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar 5, 2013 - PharmaEngine, Inc. (TWO: 4162) announces today the appointment of Alain Herrera, MD, as Senior Advisor. Dr. Herrera will advise us on our clinical strategy and operations, as well as our corporate strategy, licensing and alliance management. PharmaEngine believes that the addition of Dr. Herrera will open a new page of clinical and corporate development for PharmaEngine. Prior to founding his own consultancy firm, Alain Oncologie Consulting, Dr. Herrera headed the global oncology business at sanofi-aventis for ten years, as Vice President, Global Oncology Business Strategy and Development, and contributed to the worldwide registration of Oxaliplatiim Eloxatin®and Rasburicase Fasturtec®/Elitek®, as well as the gastric and head & neck indications for Docetaxel Taxotere® Other positions include Chairman of Chiron Therapeutics Europe, Managing Director at Pierre Fabre Oncology Laboratories.
