Sihuan Pharm surges 25.43% on HK debut
Oct. 29, 2010 (China Knowledge) - Sihuan Pharmaceutical Holdings Group Ltd, the second-largest cardio-cerebral vascular drugmaker in China, debuted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange yesterday and saw its shares rise 25.34% on its first day of trading, sources reported. Shares of the company started trading at a price 31.52% higher than the IPO price of HK$4.60. After fluctuating between HK$5.71 and HK$6.09, the shares closed at HK$5.77, with the transaction volume standing at HK$4.72 billion. According to the source, the company issued 1.25 billion new shares and raised US$741 million from the initial public offering. Shares of Sihuan Pharmaceutical were 479-fold oversubscribed. Billionaire George Soros was reported to subscribe US$50 million worth of new shares of Sihuan Pharmaceutical, as a cornerstone investor in the IPO, according to an earlier report from China Knowledge. Besides Soros, Sihuan Pharmaceutical's other five cornerstone investors include China Life Insurance Co Ltd<601628><2628><LFC>, CCB International (Holdings) Ltd and Yun Feng Fund set up by Alibaba.com Ltd's<1688> founder Ma Yun.
中國醫藥企業四環醫藥控股集團有限公司(Sihuan Pharmaceutical Holdings Group Ltd., 0460.HK, 簡稱﹕四環醫藥)週四在香港上市首日一度飆升32%﹐因投資者預計中國醫藥行業需求強勁。到午盤休市時﹐四環醫藥小幅回落至5.83港元﹐較4.60港元的首次公開募股價上漲27%。基準恆生指數漲0.3%﹐至23,229點。四環醫藥通過香港首次公開募股(IPO)籌資7.41億美元。該公司2009年12月從新加坡交易所退市﹐據其招股說明書稱﹐退市原因是新加坡股市流動性有限、缺乏同類上市公司與機構投資者。信達國際控股(Cinda International)研究部主管彭偉新(Castor Pang)稱﹐醫藥業是一個熱門行業﹐預計未來四環醫藥的利潤將高速增長。
香港文匯報訊 (記者 廖毅然、邱婷) 四環醫藥(0460)昨日舉行投資者推介會，國際知名投資者索羅斯鐵定入股4000萬美元，成為7名基礎投資者之一。由於市場一直有傳股神巴菲特入股「巨無霸」友邦保險(1299)，兩大知名投資者可謂同場較量。不過，在大戰前夕，本港新股市場持續不振，今日3隻掛牌的新股當中，招股反應理想的新天綠色能源(0956)意外地「陣前脫腳」，暗盤價跌6%，而Mongolian Mining(0975)亦跌8%。 新天招股時反應極為熱烈，公開發售最終獲241倍超額認購，並以上限2.66元定價。惟昨日暗盤價跌至2.5元，每手帳面蝕160元。Mongolian Mining(0975)公開發售亦超購10倍，但昨日仍跌7.97%至6.46元，每手帳面蝕280元。昨日唯一呈升勢的是以上限1.93元定價的賽晶(0580)，開市即升至最高價2.4元，收報2.3元，升19.17%，每手帳面賺740元。 Mongolian Mining暗盤價跌8% 有分析師預料，近日新股市況不理想，今日很有可能出現投資者失去信心而大手沽貨的情況。由於散戶無力承接，預料新天及Mongolian Mining今日將破底。至於昨日截止招股的博耳(1685)市傳初步錄得逾340倍超額認購，凍結資金逾410億元。華地(1700)昨日累計孖展額亦有38.39億元，超購逾9倍，但多間大行均出現抽飛情況，其中信誠更由前日的10億元抽至只有3億元。 不過，四環醫藥及環球乳業(1007)則毋懼逆市，均於昨日舉行推介會，周五起招股，28日掛牌。當中四環醫藥的基礎投資者陣容鼎盛。索羅斯透過旗下投資基金Quantum Partners認購4000萬美元，中國人壽(2628)及中國人壽海外合共認購5000萬美元，高瓴資本管理認購4500萬美元，惠理(0806)及雲峰基金各認購2000萬美元，而建銀國際亦認購1500萬美元。據悉其國際配售已足額。 四環於2007年在新交所上市，當時上市價為0.43新加坡元(約港幣2.55元)，但集團去年被摩根士丹利旗下的私募基金等大股東私有化。是次來港上市，據悉其招股價介乎3.88至4.6元，集資48.5至57.5億元，每手1000股，入場費約4646.37元。
