Autoimmune drug startup AbGenomics raises $8M Jun 10, 2013, 6:52am PDT AbGenomics International, led by Dr. Rong-Hwa Lin, raised another $8 million as it develops drugs to treat autoimmune disease and cancer. The Los Altos company led by Dr. Rong-Hwa Lin didn't say on the Securities and Exchange Commission filing where the money came from but it indicated there were two investors. AbGenomics previously raised $52 million since it was founded in 2000. In addition to its Los Altos office, it has operations in Taiwan and the Netherlands. In addition to Lin, others listed as directors on the SEC filing were Nai-yu Pai, who is a CPA; Dr. Stephen Polmar, a former executive at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals; Yung-Hua Chung, chairman and president of Euroking Co.; Yu-Chuan Yan, CEO of Wei-Li investment Corp.; and Kim Graham, the founder of Innomab Inc.
