Thioridazine Kills Cancer Stem Cells Without Affecting Healthy Ones; From Hamilton - Scientists from McMaster University may have made a major discovery in the fight against cancer, according to a report published in CELL. Researchers engineered a robotic system capable of identifying cancer fighting compounds. They found that the drug thioridazine was able to kill cancer stem cells without adversely killing healthy ones.
